Acknowledgement & Vetting
The Secretariat will contact you to acknowledge receipt of your application form, on email or by telephone. Your application will be reviewed and vetted at the next board committee meeting.

Confirmation
Once the application has been approved, you will receive an email confirmation from our board plus more information from the Secretariat. You will be required to pay a joining fee and or annual subscription fee. Invoices and receipts will be provided for all payments.

Payment
Once the application has been approved. Subscription payment can be made through the following payment methods:
Cheque: Payable to the British Congolese Business Group.
Online payment: Credit card payments

For Individuals
Must Have:
- Professional Background: Must have a professional background in business, trade, investment, or a related field relevant to the BCBG’s objectives.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in their field of insterest.
- Reputation and Conduct: Must have a clean professional record with no history of unethical conduct or fraudulent activities.
- Engagement with British-Congolese Relations: Demonstrated interest or involvement in promoting British-Congolese business relations.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English or French to facilitate effective communication and participation in BCBG activities.
For Business
Must Have:
- Business Registration: Must provide proof of legitimate business registration in either the UK or the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
- Operational History: Minimum of 2 years of operational history in their respective field or reliable contacts in areas of interest.
- Alignment with BCBG Goals: Show a clear interest in promoting British-Congolese business relations and alignment with BCBG’s mission and values.
- Ethical Standards: Adhere to high ethical standards and business practices, including fair trade practices and respect for human rights.
- Reputation and Conduct: Have a clean business record with no history of fraudulent activities or unethical conduct.
